ICDM Poster Awards
The purpose of the Poster Awards is to recognize exceptional research and excellence in scientific communication within the data mining community. These awards honor outstanding contributions presented during the poster sessions, evaluating both the technical innovation of the work and the effectiveness of its visual and oral presentation. The awards, consisting of one Best Poster Award and one Runner Up Poster Award, will be presented to the recipients during the annual IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM).
2026 Poster Award Selection Criteria
The awardee must be a registered author of an accepted paper in the ICDM 2026 main track and have presented the work effectively during the designated poster sessions at ICDM 2026.
The awardee has demonstrated significant technical innovation and original contribution to the fields of data mining, machine learning, or knowledge discovery.
The awardee has produced a poster with exceptional visual clarity, logical organization, and high-quality information design that facilitates easy understanding of complex research.
The awardee has shown excellence in oral communication and has engaged professionally and insightfully with the audience and the evaluation committee during the session.
The awardee commits to attending the ICDM 2026 banquet or award ceremony on-site to receive the award.
Application Submission
Candidates should upload their posters to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1G5A6dyk88xmgkKG-3t54yHKw5HVeXr1P?usp=sharing, with the following requirements:
Submit posters in PDF format.
Name the poster file as [accepted_paper_id].pdf.
Recommended poster size: 33.1 × 46.8 or 841 mm × 1189 mm.
Submission Deadline: October 12, 2026, AOE.
