About the Speakers:

Maria Adams is Vice President of Application Development in Broadridge’s Investor Communication Solutions business unit, responsible for running a large cross-functional and cross-product development organization. In her current role, she provides executive expertise, exposure and experience to develop vision and mission for the Broadridge ICS technology organization. During her time with Broadridge, she has developed deep product knowledge related to Transfer Agency, Registered and Beneficial Proxy, Mutual Funds, Regulatory Fulfillment, Canadian processing, Corporate Actions , and electronic delivery. She is passionate about encouraging innovation from diverse teams and driving business impact from new technologies. Her organization is responsible for building and maintaining many of the critical applications that support the core proxy business for Broadridge clients, including corporate issuers, brokers and mutual funds. Prior to this, Maria spent over 15 years in the financial services technology industry, holding leadership positions in development organizations at Andersen Consulting, Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital. Maria holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Lehigh University. She is a member of the NY Women’s Bond Club, participates in the CAST client advisory steering committee and is an active partner with Gartner for research and assessment of technology trends.


Steve Krzemienski is Chief Technology Officer of Broadridge Advisor Solutions (BAS) and heads the Technology Innovation team for the Investor Communications Division (ICS). As CTO of BAS, Steve is responsible for technology strategy, architecture, and delivery of all products and IT initiatives. As Head of technology Innovation Steve and his team lead the enterprise adoption of new and innovative technology and practices to drive operational excellence, next generation products and increased business value. Steve started at Broadridge 14 years ago as a lead developer and has held many different development, architecture and leadership roles as his career progressed. Outside of work, he is very involved with his community and loves coaching his 4 boys in baseball.


Saumin Patel is a member of the Technology Innovation team at Broadridge and has been with organization for almost 4 years. He brings over 18 years of experience helping enterprises drive technology delivery. In his role, Saumin leads the design, architecture and delivery of next generation solutions within the Investor Communications (ICS) business unit of Broadridge. He also plays a critical role leading the technology due diligence and assessments for M&A activities. When he is not working, he loves to spend time with his family, getting involved in various volunteering activities, and playing cricket.

We will also share our observations around how clients’ expectations were met with Blockchain technology and challenges we faced with internal and external understanding of adopting DLT.
