⭐️WiCS is excited to announce the WiCSter of the Month for September: Eva Li⭐️

😮 Introduce yourself! 😮 Hi everyone!! My name is Eva and I’m a junior majoring in Computer Science and Applied Math! I was on WiCS eboard last year as an ECM and I loved getting involved and meeting new people while planning fun events! You should def pull up to their fire events🙂‍↕️😁 Outside of WiCS, I’ve been involved as a peer mentor for CEAS (shoutout to my amazing mentees!!!) and as a student research assistant. I am also an AI/ML fellow for Break Through Tech AI, and I was a Tech Developer Intern for SEO this summer.

Why CS: In high school, I took engineering and robotics classes and joined a competitive robotics team my senior year. While I liked the problem-solving aspect, I found that I particularly enjoyed programming over the hardware, which led me to major in CS! I especially like how versatile the field is, since I would love to explore different roles in the future.

Other things: In my free time, I love to explore new places and try new restaurants/cafes🍵. Especially after coding for hours, I like to get off my devices and spend time chatting with friends! I also like playing video games, painting, and hiking. When I’m not doing these things, you can probably find me taking an afternoon nap tbh😛
