Hello! My name is Amal and I am a freshman double majoring in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics & Statistics!

As someone passionate about Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, I am excited to pursue my goals of using AI technology to analyze real-world biomedical data and construct solutions to global problems. As a WiCSter, I attended my very first hackathon, HopperHacks X, and worked with a team to create a stress-level detector! I am also a mentee for the WiCS mentoring program and look forward to one-day mentoring future WiCSters! I am a highlight writer for the Young Investigators Review as well and enjoy making scientific research accessible to all!
