Why did you join WiCS? 💻

I was on the verge of dropping out after freshman year because COVID was tough and being in CSE was super competitive. I felt like everyone was against me. Once I joined WiCS, I found an amazing group of supportive and like-minded women who wished for nothing but success for their members. I really owed it to Sammi and Jendy 🫶 for encouraging (bullying) me to run for president.

Favorite WiCS Event? 🤩

HopperHacks 2023! I'm especially proud with the changes we've made regarding the hackathon. From focusing on fun themes like Alice in Wonderland to hosting interactive workshops and then creating the director position for a smoother operation.

What are your plans after graduation? 👩‍🎓

I’m currently in Cambodia for two months visiting family. Food poisoning isn’t fun 🥲. In September, I'm starting my full time position as a Software Engineer at Oracle!
