⭐️ WiCS is excited to announce the WiCSter of the Month for September: Yu Ying Chen!! ⭐️

Yu Ying is currently a Sophomore majoring in Computer Science with a potential minor in AAS. 💻🌟. She is part of the WiCS Mentoring Program and also participated in the WiCS Shadowing Program last semester.

She was introduced to programming in high school through a CS class but she didn’t discover her real passion until after taking a CS class (CSE 114) at SBU. In the future, she hopes to become a software engineer and explore other fields such as data science and information technology ⌨️.

In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cafes and restaurants ☕, listening to music 🎶, and cooking delicious food 🍲
