We're excited to introduce our amazing WiCSter of the Month for August, Christina Low! 🌷🤩

Christina is in her last semester at Stony Brook University( we'll miss you! 😭😞-- also proud 😎), where she is majoring in Computer Science.💻 She is also part of WISE Honors and was previously a mentor. Over the summer, Christina interned at Visa as a SWE Intern in the Austin location, where had a great experience learning Kubernetes and containers! In the past, she's done HCI accessibility research at Carnegie Mellon and published papers at ASSETS 2019 and CHI 2020.🧠

Christina has been active in WiCS for the past three years, previously as PR Secretary, Webmaster, Secretary, and Event Committee Member. She absolutely loves the community 💙, fun events🥳, and impact WiCS has, and her favorite WiCS events are HopperHacks and Hour of Code👩‍💻.

In her free time, she loves to cook 👩‍🍳(she a shef; check out #foodies on the WiCS Discord), play ukulele, collect penguin 🐧plushies, attend hackathons, listen to Taylor Swift🎼🎤, and explore the city with friends🏢.
