CSE 333 Documentation

This term we will be using Google Drive for you to archive your work, and SB You (WordPress) to document it. The launch page for SB You is http://you.stonybrook.edu. Log in with your Net ID and password, then start a new site (make sure the site is Public). The naming convention for the site should be “333firstinitallastname”, as in “333tscarlatos”. Then you can edit the site to have a separate page for each of your assignments.

The pages are Project Description (client info) - Logo - Typography - Icons - Animation - Infographic - Design Brief - Web UI - Game UI - Reference.

For each development cycle, after you have updated your web site, send the URL in an email to uidev@cs.stonybrook.edu, with the name of the assignment in the subject line (such as “Infographic”).

On Google Drive you should create a directory for all your 333 assignments. For each assignment you need to upload a source and a rendered file. For the logo, for example, you will need a .psd (Photoshop) or .xcf (GIMP) source file, and also a .png rendered file (for upload to your web site). Make sure the Google Drive directory is shared with anyone at Stony Brook and with uidev@cs.stonybrook.edu
