Course Meetings and Materials

Lecture: Tuesday and Thursday, 2:30–3:50 PM, in Computer Science 2120


Calendar: See the course syllabus for a tentative schedule of topics, as well as the deadlines for all assignments.


Textbook: Learning Web Design, 4th Edition, by Jennifer Niederst Robbins (O'Reilly 2012). Copies of the book are available on 2-hour reserve in the Science and Engineering Library.


Course Software: Students are encouraged to use the Brackets text editor (available for free from http://brackets.io) to complete their homework assignments. Students will also need a (free, University-provided) Sparky Unix account with Web space in which to store their completed work. Details about this and other useful software tools will be provided in lecture.


All course information (announcements, slides, homework, and grades) will be posted on Blackboard.
