STRIPE Pictures

These pictures compare the triangle strips produced by STRIPE against the strips that are produced by an algorithm developed at SGI (see our papers for the reference). We are able to produce less strips. Each strip is shaded in a different color. Click on each picture for the full sized version.

The following pictures show the first few strips that are produced by STRIPE. STRIPE first finds the largest bands of quadrilaterals in the model, and converts them to triangle strips. Each strip is shaded in a different color. Click on each picture for the full sized version.
