Lydia Student Project Links

Recent generations of students seem to leave behind their documentation behind with Google Docs and private websites. I am at risk of losing them in my mail archive, so I am collecting them here.

Websites presenting Lydia analysis include:

• Ngram Database (Goutham Bhat) -- This resource is an improved UI to Google Ngrams built on top of a local database. These ngrams have been assembled into longer strings to make sentiment analysis possible. Docs exist describing the assembly process and describing the ngram database/UI.
• Entity Similarity (Rohith Memon) -- The resource tries to identify similar or analgous entities using a set of about 150 properties. He also provides a report/documentation and a separate site illustrating the features behind each property.
• Active Periods in Wikipedia (Sandesh Singh) -- Try to identify the peak period of an entity's career from the frequency of year references in their articles. Tar file of code separately sent to me.
• Content-based Readibility Metrics (Sandesh Singh) -- Can we measure the content-accessibiltiy of a text by the analysis of entities discussed within it?
• Who's Bigger? (Bala) -- He provides Google Docs for (1) Fame dataset preparation, (2) App dataset file preparation, (3) Entity Disambiguation, (4) Fame Dataset -- ALL DUMPS, and (5) Name matching/whitelisting projects
