Assignments
These will most likely be partial advances towards your class project.

Projects
You will be extending a state-of-the-system or proposing an entirely new solution that is competitive.
Teams will be of size two or less. The projects have to be selected early in the semester (end of 2nd week).
You will turn in a final project report and do an in class presentation. I will also arrange for a poster session
advertised to the entire department.
I will specify a list of projects to choose from.
Exams
There will be one in-class mid-term and one take-home final. The mid-term will focus on applying some methods/techniques
that we learnt. The final will be more open-ended/speculative about new problems.
