A floor below. 'The Rose Noire'
was actually a movie (see framed picture on the left), and the man of the house, a French guy, is the director of the Atlas filmstudio, as we found out in the morning. |

He came
to Ouarzazate from France and apparently fell in love with a local
lady, named Rose and pictured here, and they rehabbed this building as
a bed and breakfast, the 'Auberge de al Rose Noire'. |
