Project
This assignment uses your Brooklyn Library html.
Tasks
- Write a servlet that will accept the input from your Project form.
- Modify the HTML page for your project so that the form submits to your servlet.
- Create a Java Bean that will hold the values of the form elements in your form.
- Include the code in your servlet to populate the bean.
- Forward (using RequestDispatcher) to a JSP that will regenerate the project form with the values contained in your Java bean.
- Using EL in your form JSP, populate the fields with values from the bean.
Hints
- When you test your code, make sure that you open your Library html file directly in your browser (not in NetBeans).
- Consider using a browser http status plug-in to verify the accuracy of the data sent to and from your servlet.
- Only code the EL for a maximum of 5 of the Option elements in a dropdown.
