I am a PhD candidate in the Knowledge Systems Lab of Computer Science department at Stony Brook University. My advisor is Prof. C. R. Ramakrishnan

My research focus has been in the area of Probabilistic Logic Programming (PLP). PLP combines the knowledge representation capabilities of logic programming with probability theory to enable modeling of problems with logical structure and uncertainty. Specifically, I have worked on symbolic and approximate probabilistic inference techniques.

More broadly my interests cover the wider areas of knowledge representation, machine learning and AI. Research attempts which seek to move beyond black-box machine learning are of special interest to me (eg. probabilistic programming, statistical relational learning and explainable AI).

I have contributed to the development of following software.
