The Two-Minute Warning
I am writing to you today with news of things that are happening today in the world and with things that are about to happen. Before I do I want you to know that I am not going to try and sell you anything or have you join anything and this is not one of those get rich quick letters. I am just a normal guy that has been given a burden that I have to share to as many people I can. With all that has been going on in the world in the last few weeks I feel that this letter can and will change your life if you give me a chance and read it then think about it. By now I know I have already lost some of you and you have hit the delete key, I pray you don’t do that and just take a few minutes to read the rest.
As many of you are aware of there is a great amount of trouble in the Middle East right now. As sad as this make me I know that these things have to happen. I have read about them and other things that have not happened yet. It is all in the Bible. For those of you who do not Know 30% of the Bible is about End Time Prophecy. Now before you say it, I am not going to tell you we have to get on a space ship that is following a comet, or we all have to drink a batch of Kool-Aid I made up. All I want to do is give you some info that is in any Bible or book on Signs of the End Times.
Before I get into the signs, I have to give you a quick overview of what the Bible says will happen in the End Times. First something called the Rapture will happen. At this time all the people that have accepted Jesus as their savior will be taken to heaven. The Bible says this will happen in an instant. This alone will be horrifying to the people that are left behind. Think about all the Christians in the world gone in an instant. What if they are the pilot of your plane, or the bus driver or driving the car in front of you? They will be gone and you will be in an unmanned plane, bus or car. Remember there are 10’s of millions of people that will be taken at this time. This is going to happen for two reasons, one so those that have accepted Jesus as their savior do not have to go through Tribulations (the next part of the end times), and two to help the rest of you to see God’s Power and grace, and have you accept him as your savior (yes, you will get a second chance).
The second thing that will happen is something called Tribulation. This is a seven-year period of time in which there will be three sets of seven judgments or plagues. These are not meant to punish the world (although they will do that) they are meant to bring us to Jesus. I will not get into what they all are but they will be more horrifying then anything we have experienced in history. By the end of Tribulation ¾ of the world population will be dead, and for those that did not accept Jesus as their savior they will spend eternity in hell.
Following these seven years is when Jesus will come back to earth and do battle with Satan, this is known as Armageddon. The Bible tells us that Jesus wins this fight and at the end all unbelievers will be thrown into the fires of hell. Then Jesus will set up his new kingdom on earth and all the believers will come to live with him.
Now that you know a little bit about where the Bible says we are going, I will tell you about the signs that the Bible say will happen before we get there. There has been more End Time Prophecy fulfilled in the last 60 years, then all the rest of history put together, the biggest being the reforming of Israel. As most of you know Israel was a tribe of people from the Old Testament that formed a country that was known as Israel. These were Gods chosen people that were later called Jews. They are the only tribe from that time that is still around, they were scattered from their land but they survived. In 1948 the country of Israel was reformed. The Bible says that the start of tribulations will be when Israel signs a peace treaty with the anti-Christ (although at the time we will not know he is the anti-Christ that will be revealed at the mid point of tribulation. All this could not have happened if Israel had not reformed into a country.
In Matthew 24:7, one of the end-time signs Jesus Christ mentions is, "there shall be . . . earthquakes, in diverse places."
Look at these statistics:
Earthquakes registering 6 or more on the Richter scale occurred: •Between 1897 and 1946; 3 every 10 years •Between 1946 and 1956; the rate went to seven •Between 1956 and 1966; the rate grew to 17 •By the
1967 to 1976 period the number had swelled to an unbelievable 180! That is an increase of 6,000 percent in only 40 years. There are to many more to get into here but I will give you web sites and books that will help you see them all. The last prophesy that has to take place before the rapture is talked about in Ezekiel 38-39. It says that Rosh (the Hebrew word for "chief prince," which is Rucia in Greek, and Russia in English) would march down from the north and invade Israel. It goes on to say that God would supernaturally protect Israel and not one Israeli would be harmed. Following this Israel will sign the treaty that starts tribulation.
Now getting back to the present, Israel is fighting with the Palestinians, who are Muslims, like most of the Middle East. They have many allies in the Middle East, also Russia or Rosh is now allies with many of the same countries. If Israel keeps killing the Palestinians, they are going to ask their allies for help. And that would lead Russia to invade Israel just like the Bible told us over 3000 years ago.
As I see it, in the Game of life God has blown the whistle and the Two-minute warning is here. For those of you who are saved, we need to put the two-minute offense on the field and help bring everyone we can to Jesus before the game ends. For those of you who have not accepted Jesus as your savior yet, your time is almost up. You need to do some thinking, it is never to late, and your sins are never too great. All you have to do to be on the winning team is repent of you sins and pray this ---
Dear Heavenly Father, I confess that I have sinned against heaven and in your sight and need forgiveness. Thank you for sending your Son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins, according to the Scriptures, and I thank you for raising Him from the dead. Today I ask Him to come into my heart to cleanse me from my sin and become my Lord and Savior. I give myself to you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
If you still are not sure I will give you some web sites at the bottom, and also save this letter, and when we are all raptured in the near future you can look back on it and get a second chance. I hope you do not need it because that will mean you will have to suffer through the seven years of tribulations since there is only one rapture. What ever you do pass this on to as many people as you can. God said in John 3.16 “for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”. If God can give up his son for us, we can spend a little time passing on a letter that can save millions.
