Partition Adaptively Refined Meshes
In certain computations the mesh changes due to refinement and de-refinement.
The adapted mesh has to be repartitioned to ensure good load balance.
The new partition must:
- Balance the load
- Minimize the edge-cut
- Minimize the data-movement required to realize the new partition
A multi-objective optimization problem!
