    MAKE-UP EXAMS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Do not miss any exams or assignments. Make-up exams will be given only in extenuating circumstances (e.g., doctor's note stating that you were ill and unfit to take the exam). Students who miss an exam for a valid reason must contact the instructor immediately to take a make-up exam at the earliest possible time; specific arrangements will be made on a case-by-case basis. All assignments must be submitted on time. Late assignments will not be accepted unless a valid, documented proof is provided, i.e. a doctor's note.

    ACCESSIBILITY SUPPORT

    CRITICAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT

Stony Brook University expects students to respect the rights, privileges, and property of other people. Faculty are required to report to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards any disruptive behavior that interrupts their ability to teach, compromises the safety of the learning environment, or inhibits students' ability to learn. Faculty in the HSC Schools and the School of Medicine are required to follow their school-specific procedures. Further information about most academic matters can be found in the Undergraduate Bulletin, the Undergraduate Class Schedule, and the Faculty-Employee Handbook.
